AutoZone, Inc. Associate Technical SEO Manager in Memphis, Tennessee

Summary :

Responsible for advancing the company’s eCommerce business and the SEO program by leading and executing strategies in the specialized areas of Technical SEO, Site Audit, and SEO Analytics and reporting. Accountable for overseeing SEO deliverables and optimizing the company’s websites for Google, Bing, and other search engines through the organic search for B2C, B2B, Mexico websites, and other international sites to be added as growth indicates. Successful candidates will have demonstrated experience with Technical SEO on a large-scale B2C (preferably multi-channel retail with attribution to DIY store sales) or B2B website or agency equivalence with international exposure and coordination with third parties.

Responsibilities :

  • Conduct comprehensive, prioritized site audits and proactively identify on-page and technical SEO opportunities that drive organic traffic at scale

  • Monitor and analyze site performance using a range of SEO and site analytics tools, providing comprehensive reporting to internal stakeholders

  • QA of technical SEO during releases and implementations

  • Support the Technical SEO Manager to define new and refine existing SEO initiatives that will drive organic traffic, conversion, and revenue growth

  • Ability to represent the SEO team in technical-level discussions with internal stakeholders and developers, effectively communicating and gaining buy-in on product opportunities, needs, and expected outcomes.

  • Take the lead on key technical SEO initiatives and projects for the organization across IT, Marketing, and Merchandising

  • Leverage prior and new SEO knowledge to enhance projects that drive solutions for real-world problems.

  • Measure and analyze the impact of existing functionalities.

  • Work closely with team members and website analysts to understand the impact of all SEO activities and hurdle rates for new activities.

    Requirements :

  • A substantial understanding of technical SEO factors for large eCommerce sites, such as site architecture, discoverability, canonicalization and redirects, internal linking, schema, dynamic content, UI/UX, and site audit

  • A solid mastery of interpreting and understanding code, familiarity with modern frameworks (react, stencil, etc.), and implications on SEO Experience using enterprise SEO platforms and tools.

  • Minimum of 4 years of SEO experience in a multi-channel retail environment

  • Expertise with Google Search Console, Adobe Analytics, Yext, and preferably, React and Lucidworks

  • Ahrefs, SEMrush, and/or SimilarWeb experience

  • Experience working with large data sets to create insights and actions.

  • Experience working with APIs and Web Services

  • Agile experience preferred.

  • Jira experience preferred.

    Other Required Skills:
