Job Information

Bryce Corporation Security Guard (6am - 6pm) 18.72/hrly in Memphis, Tennessee

  • Must work shift rotation (2-2-3) including every other weekend

  • Maintains watch from guardhouse on entry into facility parking area

  • Checks credentials before admitting persons onto the property

  • Removes unauthorized persons from the property as needed

  • Directs visitors/truckers and maintains log book

  • Inspects outgoing traffic to prevent unauthorized removal of Company property

  • Remains vigilant for potential safety and security issues

  • Assists in event of an emergency by summoning help, directing traffic, etc.

  • Patrols facility as needed

  • Responds to and interprets burglar and fire alarm systems, working closely with monitoring services

  • Performs other duties as required

  • All staff are responsible for reporting food safety and quality issues to those that can initiate action.

  • All employees are responsible for reporting food safety and quality issues to those that can initiate action.

  • All security guards are responsible for completing Food Defense training.

  • High School education or G.E.D.

  • State Certification (unarmed)

  • Five (5) years relevant experience.

  • Ability to work 12 hour shifts days, and weekends

  • Ability to analyze and solve problems.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
