Aerotek Packaging Maintenance Technician in Memphis, Tennessee

Aerotek, voted Best of Staffing, is hiring Maintenance Technician to work with a local manufacturing facility in Memphis, TN with a starting pay of $26.00-$38.00/hour based on experience and skillset. These positions are responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment.

Job Responsibilities:

Minimum of three (3) years of experience industrial setting (chemical, FDA, Processing, packaging, etc).

Troubleshooting 3 phase motor circuits, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLC’s and HMI Programs.

Experience in a high-speed packaging environment, food/beverage preferred.

Must have ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

Experience with Allen Bradley, Modicon and Omron programs a plus.

Strong computer skills required. Software skills to include RS Logix 500 and 5000, ProWorks NXT, Delta V and Wonderware.

AutoCAD is bonus.

Fabrication/Welding experience.

Work Environment:

Working environment temperature shifts. They will have to be comfortable with working in non temp controlled (temporarily) and temp controlled environments.

Clean FDA facility

Shift is a 2-2-3 shift from 6pm-6am for nights. Their primary focus right now is for the overnight shifts.

Candidates must be able to train on 1st shift as well.

Candidate must be willing to work overtime.
