ABC24 News Right Now, the TEGNA-owned ABC affiliate in Memphis, TN, is looking for a dynamic and experienced meteorologist to join the Mid-South's Most Accurate Weather Team.

Duties and Responsibilities: Our next meteorologist understands the science of weather but has mastered the art of telling the weather story to help our viewers stay safe and plan their day. We are looking for a person who is energetic and passionate about the weather but can stay cool under pressure. Provide accurate and compelling weather forecasts in a multi-platform environment. Produce clean, creative, and informative graphics to tell the weather story. Write, edit and report from the field or studio. Update multiple platforms and interact with viewers on social media platforms daily. Perform special projects or other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience: The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and understand the importance of owning the big weather story every single day. You must be able to successfully interact and connect with viewers on all platforms including digital and social media. Your goal is to create an experience for your audience on air and online.
