Simon Roofing Commercial Roofing Project Manager in Memphis, Tennessee

Due to our growth and continued support of our customers, Simon Roofing currently has an opening for a Project Manager to join our Production Division.

What You’ll Do:

 

  • Manage to maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.

  • Completes all assigned roofing projects within estimate and on schedule.

  • Continuously analyzes the customer’s roofing needs, coordinates with the Sales group as necessary.

  • Recruit, select, train, assign, schedule, coach, counsel, and discipline employees.

  • Analyzes all reports and materials pertaining to the project and ensures that all the necessary elements are in place to complete the project. Monitors progress and completes all post project reports and reviews.

  • Travel through the US to manage projects.

  • Recommend solutions wherever Simon can contribute to the customer’s roofing needs.

  • Other duties as assigned.

    What You’ll Need:

     

  • Minimum 3 Years of Commercial Roofing Experience.

  • Minimum 3 Years of Project Management experience.

  • Understanding commercial roofing products and systems.

  • Bring in jobs on and under budget.

  • Install systems to the highest level of quality possible.

  • Be able to run a job to completion from an issued job folder.

  • Ability to write condition reports, track progress of project, and project final project outcome.

  • Understanding competitive products, and understanding the market you are in., and understanding the competitive advantages of the Simon products.

    Physical Working Conditions:

     

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time on a regular basis throughout the day.

  • Must be able to frequently ascend/descend ladder up to 40 feet.

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for an extended period.

  • Constantly works in outdoor weather conditions.

  • Must be able to work in varied extreme weather conditions (extreme hot and extreme cold weather).

  • Load and unload material and equipment from variant heights.

  • Load material and equipment from vehicles on and off the roof.

  • Lift heavy objects by hand or with a host and clean work area.

  • Shovel loose materials such as gravel, sand metal snow, or dirt.
