Makowsky Ringel Greenberg, LLC Apartment Maintenance Technician in Memphis, Tennessee

We are looking for an experienced, HVAC-certified Maintenance Technician for the Woodlake Apartments in Memphis, Tennessee. This position is scheduled for three days each week at Woodlake and two days each week of roving maintenance; on those days, the technician will be assigned to assist with maintenance at various other MRG-managed communities.

MRG manages more than 30 apartment communities in the Memphis area and provides growth-oriented positions for employees who help us achieve our goal of providing well-maintained, desirable living spaces for our residents.

Work schedule: Monday through Friday, rotating weekends on-call, overtime as needed

Responsibilities include:

  • HVAC and appliance installation and repair

  • Plumbing and electrical repair

  • Lock installation, repair, and re-keying

  • Preventive maintenance

  • Make-ready

  • Daily documentation of work performed

  • Following company and OSHA safety policies

Requirements

MUST HAVE

  • HVAC certification (Universal preferred)

  • 2+ years of apartment maintenance experience

  • Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices

  • Physical ability to perform assigned tasks

  • General knowledge of applicable building codes / laws

  • Ability to complete required documentation

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Reliable vehicle suitable for maintenance work

  • Valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance

  • Ability to pass credit, background, and drug screenings

NICE TO HAVE

  • Strong organization and time-management skills

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Ability to work in both residential and commercial settings
