Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a AIR CARGO SPECIALIST SUPERVISOR (TITLE 32), Position Description Number NGD1545P01 and is part of the TN 164th AW, Air National Guard. This vacancy is not eligible for membership to a labor organization. Responsibilities As an AIR CARGO SPECIALIST SUPERVISOR, GS-5201-10, (TITLE 32) you will, Plan weekly or monthly work schedules and sequence of operations. Assign tasks to be performed. Recommend and participate in the selection of personnel to fill vacancies. Perform non-supervisory work of the function as needed. Implement safety regulatory requirements. Prepare for and participate in various types of readiness evaluations, inspections, mobilization, and command support exercises. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Military Grades: E-7 through E-9 GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience or training which demonstrates the knowledge of equipment and practices associated with the type of work to be done. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least 36 months experience journeyman level which demonstrates the ability to plan, direct and organize work assignments for lower grade personnel. Experience which required the review of work requirements and establish priorities to meet deadlines. Experience that provided knowledge of various lines of work performed by this function. Experience which demonstrates the ability to supervise or the potential to perform such duties as evidenced by the ability to communicate knowledge of general supervisory concepts, and knowledge of shop processes. Experience in adapting existing equipment and techniques to new situations. Education Education Requirement: NONE Substitution of Education to qualify for this position is not available.
