About the role Department: Information Technology Manager's Title: Manager, Global Infrastructure Services Start Date: Summer 2024 (On-site, Melville, NY); Must be able to commute to work daily; No housing stipends. This position will work with our Manager of IT Global Infrastructure Services as a support resource on several service desk and project related tasks assigned to the team. Environments include Office 365 (MS Teams, SharePoint, Exchange), Windows & Linux file servers, Networking, Active Directory & Vmware. Responsibilities Assist team in identifying issues reported by users via our ticketing system. Learn Service Desk system to properly correspond with users and document troubleshooting steps and remediations. Including triaging and re-assigning tickets as necessary. Learn SharePoint Online to build and edit existing SharePoint sites, lists and document libraries. Support the team in pilot testing new technologies and upgrades, ie Copilot, server builds, network setups, etc Create flow charts and spreadsheets in support of our projects. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Basic knowledge of Active Directory, Networking, Windows & Linux Operating systems, IT Service Desk systems. Experience with SharePoint Online a plus. Experience with problem solving. Proficient with Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. Experience with Microsoft Teams a plus. Education & Experience Must be a college student currently enrolled as a sophomore or higher pursing a Bachelors or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields.
