TEKsystems Helpdesk Analyst in Melville, New York
Our client is looking for 3 Helpdesk Analysts to join their Tech Support team as they are seeing an increase in call volume to the helpdesk. The Service Desk acts as the initial point of contact for user support and inquiries. Techs will provide first-line technical support via phone, resolving issues where possible and escalating to the appropriate support group via the ServiceNow Service Management Suite. Resources will provide ad-hoc service to users of all computer systems, triage, troubleshoot and resolve problems and answer questions.
Seeking resources with great customer service skills as well as technical support expertise. Some experience working with a ticketing system or service management platform (ServiceNow, Remedy, CA Service Desk, etc.) Strong familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office 365 as well as some Microsoft Active Directory experience preferred.
Issues could range from OS, SW, basic HW, email usage and connectivity, printer connectivity, VPN connectivity, Citrix connectivity, password resets or account lockouts in Active Directory, or if a user has the right access in Active Directory. Requests come in through their ticketing system ServiceNow, so candidates must have experience with ticket management through a tool.
