Building and Grounds Maintenance Technician (Part Time Flex)This individual will work closely with maintenance management to correct building and grounds deficiencies, complete minor mechanical and general tasks. Such duties will include mowing, grounds keeping, snow blowing, shoveling, lawn sprinkler maintenance, painting, and tile grout repair. This individual will also perform minor mechanical tasks and repairs such as air leak checks and repairs, steam trap testing and documentation, minor plumbing repairs, and carrier press support. This is an outside and inside job requiring some computer skills and the ability to learn our Catalyst maintenance program.Let us know when you want to work! Part-time, anytime with a minimum of 16 hours per week and a maximum of 29 hours per week. 4-12 hour blocks spread across normal production hours.Essential Functions/Job Duties :Basic computer skillsMust be able to operate rider, lawn mowing and snow blowing equipment.Painting as assigned.Performs fill work and replacement grouting to tiled areas throughout the facility.Minor plumbing repairs.Air leak checks and minor line repairsSteam trap testing and documentationA ssisting in HVAC filter changesPerform OSHA inspections: Ladders, drains, Boiler Room inspections, etc.Other duties as assignedLocation city, state : Melrose, MNHours: Flexible Monday through Friday with occasional weekend work or start/end time changesWage: $ 27.03Required Qualifications & Experiences:High School Diploma or GED18 years or older6 months prior industrial maintenance experience, knowledge and/or educationBasic computer skillsAbility to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions and possess basic mathematical skillsPossess mechanical aptitude.
