Skills Required

  • A minimum ten (10) years of action officer experience to include a minimum of eight (8) years working in a space program environment.

  • M/S office applications, i.e., M/S Outlook, MS Teams, Zoom.gov, Task Management Tool (TMT), Defense Travel System (DTS), Project, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Excel

  • Verbal and written communication skills, and quantitative analytical skills are required

  • Work isin a team environment

  • DoD Program management experience, strategic planning experience, or senior-level government office administration experience working in a CAG-like environment is highly desirable

  • Working knowledge of the DoD acquisition and project management processes

  • Master's degree in math, Business/Economics, finance, accounting, engineering, or statistics

  • Active Secret security clearance is required (US Citizenship required)

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences.

Overview We are seeking a professional with written and verbal communication skills to execute the duties of a C-Suite level Action Officer reporting to senior Assured Access to Space (AATS) personnel. Applicant will be responsible for drafting, coordinating, and tracking organizational inputs for senior AATS and Space Launch Delta 45 leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for taking on the duties of a C-Suite level Action Officer reporting to senior Space Force personnel.

  • Responsible for supporting host requirements for senior Space Force leadership, senior government officials, senior defense support contractors, and community leaders.

  • Primary focal point for distributing and monitoring action items using government's TMT tool.

  • Specific job duties entail preparing reports/papers, briefings, and executive correspondence for senior leader approval.

  • Responsible for coordinating activities with multiple organizations and senior leadership
