Job Description:

Subject matter expert with comprehensive knowledge of job area and in-depth knowledge of contract management. Manage large, complex contracts of substantial importance to the organization with minimal oversight or direction. Communicate within and outside of the organization to explain and influence changes to practices, processes and approaches. Make significant improvements in processes, systems, or products. Provide input into new products/processes and implement operational plans that have measurable impact on business or functional results.

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for RFP review and risk assessment, proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities for assigned contracts/programs • Serves as the primary communication conduit between L3Harris and the respective customers • Provides a proactive voice in the business process • Provides proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications • Analyzes material estimates, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness • Prepares bids and proposals • Prepares and conducts negotiations • Processes specifications, progress report, and other reports • Ability to think critically, problem solve and work independently • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and work in a team environment • Ability to multi-task and determine priorities while working on multiple assignments • Dedication to meet customer deadlines • Ability to negotiate contract terms and conditions with commercial and US Government customers • Conducts change management process with internal team and communicate equitable adjustment rights to customers • Utilizes contract sales order system to record contract awards and modifications • Advises management of contractual rights and obligations • Compiles and analyzes data as required Maintains historical information for assigned contracts • Ability to clearly present information to broad audience, inclusive of management

Qualifications:

• Requires practical knowledge of job area. Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.

• Experience with FAR, DFAR, ITAR, EAR, CAS

• Experience with using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Negotiation experience • Active security clearance is a strong plus; TS/SCI preferred • NCMA professional certifications (CPCM, CFCM, etc) are a strong plus
