REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related discipline required
  • Minimum of five years of accounting experience required
  • Experience in SAP or related ERP system.
  • Knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting.
  • Understanding of and adhere to generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Written and verbal communication skills.

Dassault Falcon Jet in Melbourne, FL is seeking a full time Senior Accountant whowill work intimately with financial and operational data at DFJ to support the MRO. This position will be responsible for managing key performance indicators, analyzing and evaluating financial results, as well as assisting in the monthly of the management reporting package.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyzes monthly results and articulates actionable recommendations to senior management to ensure financial results are achieved.
  • Assist in the preparation of company monthly financial statements.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual department budget and company consolidated budgets; develops and updates monthly/quarterly forecasts as required.
  • Responsible for reconciling balance accounts and preparation of monthly account analysis; research and resolves reconciliation differences on a monthly basis.
  • Preparation of month-end close activities; posting and reviewing journals entries as required.
  • Fixed Asset and capital appropriations' management for multiple facilities.
  • Development dashboards to scale the monitoring of KPIs and other management tools to drive efficiencies and business growth throughout the organization.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
