Accenture Sustainability & Energy Operations Specialist in Melbourne, Australia
Accenture is seeking a collaborative, passionate and results oriented Sustainability & Energy Operations Specialist who will assist clients with emissions and energy management challenges. You will work closely with clients to help design, build and operationalise sustainability solutions, underpinned by emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, automation and block chain. You will join an emerging practice within Accenture, Sustainability and Energy Operations, that is driving significant and tangible value by impacting and operationalising the environmental, social and governance agenda at our clients in order to bridge their ambition gap in operating in a sustainable manner. Lead a team of to manage the energy management operations of a large multi-site clients.
What you’ll be doing:
Develop and lead the implementation of energy management initiatives using metering, billing and location data.
Support the development of NGER, Corporate Sustainability Reports and CDP sustainability reporting.
Develop budget and accruals on an ongoing basis.
Strong stakeholder engagement across the energy ecosystem: retailers, OEMS, distributors.
Manage the end to end delivery of utility bill management and tariff optimisation initiatives.

At least two years of professional industry or consulting experience in renewable energy, energy management, and or carbon management.
Experience identifying and analysing energy efficiency, renewable energy and or greenhouse gas reduction opportunities
Strong stakeholder engagement skills
Strong communication skills verbal and written
Knowledge of energy and carbon schemes such as NGER, ERF and ESS
Accreditation as a NABERS assessor not mandatory .
Data science, coding and or programming experience advanced excel, python, SQL
