Our Water Group is experiencing substantial growth with long-term partnership relationships in the water market and a strong pipeline of work, there is a continued focus on growth over the next five years. As such, we are seeking a Process Engineer to join our Melbourne Team.

The Opportunity:

  • Perform process engineering design tasks, which may include preparing PFDs, P&IDs, calculations, reports and design criteria to support complex engineering projects such as water, wastewater, recycled water, resource recovery, biosolids, and odour treatment facilities.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders in client project requirement meetings, coordination meetings with internal and/or external consultants, owner and contractor, sub-contractors, and vendors in preparation and coordination of project specifications.

  • Perform calculations to analyse, model and design process components using company standard software and proprietary manufacturer software.

  • Contribute to the development of processes through sketches, electronic models, diagrams, and other visual formats.

  • Prepare process engineering documents by developing process specifications, plans and schedules.

  • Work and coordinate with a multi-disciplinary design team to ensure constructability of the process designs and compatibility with the design intent.

  • Assist in the preparation of engineering project documents, client presentations, client contact and communication pertaining to specific project deliverables.

  • Assist with site investigations as well as commissioning and construction support works as required by the projects.

  • Participate in value engineering and basic cost estimating to support engineering projects.

About you:

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, with relevant professional experience in the water and wastewater industry.

  • Highly developed interpersonal skills to develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external clients.

  • Highly developed consulting skills to liaise with clients and other stakeholders to achieve mutually successful project outcomes.
