Verisk Pricing Data Researcher (Part-time) in Melbourne, Australia

The Pricing Data Researcher will be liaising with various suppliers, trades and regulatory bodies to research pricing for domestic and commercial construction materials, trades, equipment and repair methodology. The Pricing Data Researcher will have great attention to detail, be highly organised and will understand the importance of teamwork across different regions and time zones. _Responsibilities:_ * Liaise with suppliers by telephone, email or face-to-face in order to publish accurate pricing information. * Undertake pricing research across components. * Document research methodology and pricing discussions which take place with external vendors. * Convert gathered pricing data into readable price lists. * Ensure that all components and aspects of the price lists represent accurate information and regional specific terminology. * Organise pricing data into a readable format for ease of review by clients. * Test and validate the representation of pricing data in the estimating applications. Achieved or in the process of completing a qualification directly related to the Construction sector. Hands on construction experience would be advantageous. 2. Good communication skills-both written and verbal. 3. Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism. 4. Excellent organisational skills; detail oriented. 5. Ability to work in a team and contribute to the strength and cohesiveness of the team. 6. Ability to work alone and be productively self-motivated. 7.
