    What the day will look like

    The role of the Policy Wording Executive is to provide technical product support to Aon staff across all insurance product lines. This position sits within a team of dedicated insurance technicians, who work closely together ensuring first class support to Aon staff and clients.

    This includes the following tasks:

  • Comparison of insurance products and the drafting of supporting endorsements or derogation notices;

  • Development and drafting of new and updated insurance products, with a specific focus on Aon’s own policies;

  • Providing “one-off” technical advice on policy interpretation, particularly with respect to policy coverage;

  • Review of clients’ and prospective clients’ insurance policy wordings to ensure the efficacy of those policy wordings, and to ensure they meet current market standards;

  • Development and delivery of insurance product training to Aon staff, and on occasion, to Aon’s clients. Training includes assisting Aon staff and clients to understand the impact of commercial contracting on clients’ insurance programs.

  • Assisting the Compliance team with compliance projects to ensuring compliance with the relevant regulatory frameworks and reforms.

  • Contribution to the development of internal communications on insurance product developments and other topical insurance issues will also be required.
