CBRE Technical Services is an expanding division within the CBRE GWS Facilities Management (FM) business. Our focus in on providing high quality hard services lead technical support service to our client base.

Here’s a snapshot of your day:

This role will perform general electrical preventive maintenance and corrective repair of assets and building systems across our client sites.

As well as day to day maintenance support this role will work with the maintenance planner and the technicians to include the day-to-day planning, implementation, coordination and management of our technical resources including the development of service programs to support our client’s requirements.

  • Perform assigned day-to-day repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance and complete maintenance and repair records

  • Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems

  • Review assigned work orders and estimate time and materials needed to complete repair. 

  • Order necessary materials and supplies to complete all tasks.

  • Assist with installation and modification of building equipment systems.

  • Inspect new installation for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.

  • Maintain lighting systems throughout client facility, cleaning fixtures and replacing bulbs and lamps.

  • Respond quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.

  • Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency and Company directives related to building operations and work safety.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience in repairs and Maintenance of electrical assets and systems ideally within the commercial sector

  • Experience in Testing and Inspection of assets and systems

  • Current and valid A Grade Electrical License

  • Relevant and valid OH&S cards 

  • Strong understanding of AS 3001

  • Valid Driver’s License
