Job Summary and Primary Responsibilities

Responsible for effectively supporting the sales revenue and product mix requirements for their assigned territory. Supports clinical fulfillment of company procedures in the territory. Develops relationships with key spine surgeon and hospital customers. Acquires clinical competency skills with all company products to meet and exceed the standards for the role in an elite sales force.

  • Supports clinical fulfillment of spine procedures in the territory while driving the development of relationships with key spine surgeon and hospital customers

  • Interacts with surgeons and surgical team to communicate monitoring data in accordance with the Company’s and/or Hospital’s policies and procedures

  • Provides formal communication of customer needs to personnel for the purpose of improving existing product and developing new products

  • Develops good rapport and establishes trusting relationships with key spine surgeon customers

  • Supports in case coverage within assigned region, ordering required sets, instruments and supplies as needed

  • Provides consistent reporting on a variety of topics including expense reports, sales performance, market feedback, competitive activities, new target accounts, and ideas regarding sales growth and new product development opportunities

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Required Skills / Capabilities

  • Strong technical skills with an advanced understanding of human anatomy and basic medical procedures

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Intermediate verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects simultaneously

  • Organisational skills with strong problem recognition and pragmatic problem-solving abilities

  • Be qualified for and maintain privileges at all required hospitals

Education and Experience

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience

  • Operating room experience preferred

Travel and/or Physical Requirements

  • Up to 80% travel required

  • Must be able to lift up to 15kgs
