WESCO Analyst - Inventory in Melbourne, Australia
Wesco Anixter have an outstanding career opportunity for a highly motivated and hands-on Inventory Controller supporting our security branches. This role is based from our Tullamarine branch.
About the job
Reporting directly to the Operations Director, you will be responsible for:
Ensure integrity of logistical processes
Identify and investigate all stock discrepancies and report as required
Monitor and investigate pallet control transactions
Co-ordinate stock-takes, cycle counts and bin checks as required
Continuous improvement of logistical processes and procedures
Assist with slotting and process flow to ensure productivity optimisation
Lead/ assist Logistics projects to implement new customers, supporting warehouse design
Ensure any issues are immediately brought to the attention of Management
Monitor and deliver on all relevant inventory KPI's and report to internal stakeholders and the customer
Promote and develop a team environment that is cohesive and continually improves work practices and procedures
Provide key data for reporting, or where relevant actual reporting
Support and drive all Logistics initiatives
Actively be involved in the maintenance of the 5S program
Actively be involved in the maintenance of the site presentation policies
Develop effective relationships with internal/external client base
Conduct cycle count, empty location check, pallet control
Monitor, maintain and report all product movement inclusive of receipt, dispatch and storage
Manage KPI data on a weekly basis

Previous experience in inventory and/or warehouse roles
Strong analytical skills
