RenewableWorks LLC CONSTRUCTION LABORER in Meeker, Colorado

The future is looking bright, Colorado! RenewableWorks is still accepting applications for an exciting solar project in the Meeker area. Whether you're a seasoned solar professional or aspiring first-timer, we'd love for you to join our crew!

We're currently looking for LOCALS to Meeker and surrounding towns. If you, or anyone you know, are in the Axial, White River City, Buford, Antlers, Anvil Points, New Castle, Silt, Angora, Jensen, Lay, Parachute, Craig, Rifle, Rangely or Sunbeam areas - WE WANT YOU! As a member of our team, you'll be responsible for assembling, installing, moving and maintaining solar systems and other structures in compliance with site assessments and schematics. You'll be instrumental in the operations of sustainable energy units on commercial solar farm sites. Heads up: This is a physically demanding role that will require you to work in all kinds of weather. A strong work ethic will serve you well, along with prior solar or construction experience (this is a plus, not a must!). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Measuring, cutting, assembling and bolting structural framing and solar modules Connecting installed solar panels to existing electrical systems and checking electrical installation for proper wiring, polarity, grounding or integrity of terminations Tasks will involve excessive walking, bending, kneeling, twisting, reaching, standing, lifting throughout entire shift Organizing and maintaining system components Maintaining documentation of completed installations Applying weather sealing to array, building or support mechanisms Completing labor-intensive work in various weather conditions Performing materials staging and general job site cleanup and organization Ensuring safety comes first - always!

JOB REQUIREMENTS Ability to lift up to 50-75+ pounds and remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation Ability to meet additional screening requirements and pass a drug test when applicable Solar and/or construction site experience is a plus While tools will be provided on site, please come ready with steel or composite toed boots and hot / cold weather gear

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated to range between $18.20 - $21.20 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including but not limited to experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate's skills and experience, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the pay range. The upper end of the range will generally be reserved for candidates with extensive skills and experience. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law.
