Titan America Aggregates Truck Driver (W) in Medley, Florida

TRUCK DRIVER - Pennsuco Aggregates Plant

Titan Florida LLC has an opening for a Truck Driver in the Aggregates Division. This wage non-exempt position is assigned to the Quarry Department and will report to the Quarry Superintendent.

Responsibilities:

· Perform a pre-shift inspection on equipment.

· Fill out all required documentation and submit on time.

· Move materials to Primary system as main activity and move stockpile materials for cement and aggregates divisions.

· Respectfully communicate with the Primary Tower Operator, Loader Operators, lead man, and Quarry Manager.

· Maintain equipment operated clean and safe. Report all safety concerns.

· Perform utility tasks such as shoveling, water hosing, and others when the primary or truck is down and as required.

· Perform safety inspections and actively participate in the safety committees.

Qualifications:

· Basic knowledge of material specifications, preferred.

· Basic knowledge of equipment operation, preferred.

· Welding & cutting experience required.

· Maintain a current Florida Driver’s License and a clean Motor Vehicle Record.

· Ability to work well with others.

· Capable of working in confined spaces.

· Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

· Able to walk, kneel crouch, crawl, talk and hear.

· Safety-minded.

· Must be able to speak, read, and write English.

· High School Diploma or GED.

· Able to walk, kneel crouch, crawl, talk and hear.

Shift:

Rotating Shifts. Must be able to work weekends and overtime as necessary.
