Location: Media, PA Schedule: 2pm-10pm + every  other weekend Hourly rate: $14.50 + shift differential PRIMARY FUNCTION: Performs direct janitor, porter, cleaner tasks in offices, restrooms and other areas as assigned

IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Shift Foreman

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: No specific requirements

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Bending, lifting, stooping, walking and carrying

WORKING CONDITIONS: General office space

HAZARDS: Routine hazards associated with the use of cleaning chemicals and solutions

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Have a thorough understanding of the cleaning requirements for a particular task Perform general cleaning tasks in office, restrooms, and other general areas as assigned Perform tasks to an acceptable level of quality and on time Communicates effectively with other members of the cleaning crew Follows instructions from immediate supervisor Knows the tools required for a particular job and brings correct tools to the work area Stays at the work station until job is completed and informs Working Group Leader when task is finished Keeps area neat while working and keeps cart properly stocked Demonstrates a consistent level of performance Strives to maintain a steady level of productivity and provides a consistent effort Seeks out work that needs to be done, works on ongoing projects and assists others as requested Demonstrates the ability to adapt to changes in workload Strives to make good use of time Follows instructions Demonstrates maturity for accountability of job performance Addresses visitors and co-workers in a pleasant and respectful manner and displays courtesy at all times Demonstrates the ability to work effectively with a variety of staff members, regardless of varied ethnic, racial and sociological backgrounds Responds appropriately to inquiries and requests in a friendly, cooperative manner Deals with constant interruptions with tact Performs all duties in an independent manner, with little or no need for direct supervision Elwyn is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
