MD Anderson Cancer Center Postdoctoral Fellow - Genitourinary Medical Oncology - Research in MDA-On-Site, United States

The main research goal of the Genitourinary Medical Oncology department is to identify important biological markers to help determine which patients are at the greatest risk of advanced GU disease and metastasis. In alignment with this departmental goal, this postdoctoral project will focus on delineating cellular and molecular mechanisms dictating resistance to chemotherapy, targeted therapy, and immunotherapy in aggressive variant metastatic prostate cancers (a subset with poor prognosis) and link them to clinicopathological features of the disease. Knowledge gained will be used to identify molecular biomarkers and rational therapeutic combinations for treating these aggressive prostate cancers.
