Job Description

Responsible for oversight of Sector compliance with the Special Security Agreement (SSA), implementation and oversight of appropriate physical security controls, insider threat program, all aspects of the Sector's compliance with the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) and managing internal and external relationships including Government and industry stakeholders and security suppliers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • SSA compliance (vulnerability assessments, special briefings, line security risk management, international business compliance and reporting to the Inc. VP of Security and the Government Security Committee (GSC).

  • Responsible for the Sector's compliance with the NISP and customer supplied security directives for classified national security information and for controlled unclassified information (CUI). Duties include site assessment visits, training and education of the security staff, interface with site leadership to support our security programs and attending vulnerability assessments when issues may arise.

  • Internal investigations addressing the loss, compromise or suspected compromise of classified information under the NISP or customer supplied security directives. Additional investigative resources will be applied to situations where Company personnel or assets are under threat or where supply chain issues suggest vulnerability to Company personnel, assets or program security performance.

  • Responsible for a centralized security center responsible for the tracking and support of all Sector employees traveling on Company business, both international and domestic, and for the physical security monitoring of Sector sites throughout the US and overseas.

  • Responsible for maintaining a series of customer and regulatory agency relationships that strengthen the Sector's strategic objectives and minimize the risk associated with the Sector's involvement in domestic and international national security programs.

  • Responsible for the establishment and sustainment of an insider and counterintelligence threat program within the Sector focusing on the protection of employees, assets and supply chain, and uncovering threats to our technologies and information resources from internal and external threats.

  • Responsible for the development and growth of a world-class security team to ensure sustained superior performance.

  • Oversight of the Joint Security Operations Center which is responsible for the tracking and support of employees traveling on Company business, both international and domestic, and for the physical security monitoring of sites throughout the U.S. and overseas.

  • Oversight of the Sector PERSEC (Personnel Security) function which supports clearance administration for employees.

  • Oversight of the physical security annual audit of all sites with quarterly reporting responsibilities to the Sector President.

Oversight of the management of the Sector incident notification matrix while taking the lead on all crisis/incidents within the security function portfolio.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Problem Solving: Analytical thought needed to resolve issues in a variety of complex situations, without supervision.

  • Nature of Impact: Routinely impacts quality, timeliness of results, planning and revenues or budget; frequently sets policies and procedures.

  • Area of Impact: Primarily sector wide.

  • Interpersonal Skills: Skilled communicator who influences and shapes the image of a complex Program/Line of Business/Sector.

  • Negotiation Skills: Negotiates mainly internally, at higher levels, and occasionally with external relationships.

  • Project Management: Senior Project/Program team member responsible for workflow which is varied in nature with situations frequently requiring new solutions.

  • Minimum Experience: More than 15 years of relevant experience.

  • Minimum Education: Bachelor s degree.

  • Clearance: Ability to hold a Top-Secret Clearance with SCI level access.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Master's Degree.

  • More than 15 years of relevant management experience.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $194600 - $330800

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
