Guidehouse SharePoint / PowerApps Developer in MCLEAN, Virginia

What You Will Do :

  • Design and develop Power Platform solutions to meet the required business processes.

  • Leverage the Power Platform; PowerApps (canvas and model-driven apps), PowerAutomate, Common Data Service, Azure, Web Services and Microsoft 365 (Forms, SharePoint Online, and Teams) to build Enterprise scale solutions.

  • Conduct and provide site development to extend and customize existing site structures to support new functionalities.

  • Implement and integrate web services in the new SharePoint platform and environment.

  • Prepare and update SharePoint Services/Technical documentation.

  • Advice on the architecture, deployment considerations, and structure development methodologies to assure best practices are being used.

  • Will ensure Section 508 compliance requirements and web formatted graphics meet required standards.

  • Provide SharePoint design work, custom development, and best practices consulting.

  • Consults with stakeholders to identify and implement SharePoint requirements.

  • Assist in managing end-user expectations.

  • Gathering requirements, developing test plans, as well as providing project scope management, change control, project planning/scheduling, project documentation, issue resolution and postmortem analysis.

  • Adhere to the Agile/Scrum method and processes, ensuring full cooperation and coordination with other team members.

What You Will Need :

  • BS in Computer Science or Engineering or information systems or related field (or equivalent experience) required.

  • US Citizenship is contractually required for this role.

  • Minimum of Five (5) years of software development experience in SharePoint and .Net.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Visual Studio or Visual Studio Code using C#, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML 5, CSS3, Ajax, Microsoft SQL Server.

  • Experience with SharePoint 2013 and 2016, SharePoint Online, SharePoint Designer 2010, 2013 and InfoPath Designer, REST and SOAP API web services, SharePoint framework using REACT.

  • Ability to technically lead a project through the lifecycle and consult with the customer on business requirements.

  • Excellent problem solving, multitasking, troubleshooting skills and attention to detail are required to work in this challenging and dynamic environment.

  • Very strong interpersonal, customer service, result oriented and team building skills are essential.

What Would Be Nice To Have :

  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform and experience with Power Apps

  • Knowledge of QlikSense/Qlikview Reports, Angular Framework

  • Experience with Azure
