Hilton Senior Analyst Revenue Analytics in McLean, Virginia

This is your chance to be part of an in-house Commercial Strategy, Insights, and Analytics team of consultants to important functions across Hilton! The team consists of both embedded authorities who serve as strategic advisors to partners and technical specialists who are proficient in advanced analytics techniques and tools. As a Senior Analyst, Revenue Analytics , you will support Hilton's Customers, Brands, Marketing, Digital, Revenue, and Sales organizations, with special support for the executive leadership team. On the Commercial Analytics team reporting to the Manager Revenue Analytics, you will support projects including Weekly Performance Analysis and Report, Commercial Performance Review, Commercial Focus Meetings, and the Quarterly Business Review.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What your day-to-day will be like:

  • Lead recurring executive commercial reporting, including the Weekly Performance Analysis and Report, Stay Tables, and Investor Relations and QBR materials
  • Drive analyses support key projects for the organization's revenue, commercial, and distribution

How you will collaborate with others:

  • Collaborate with Business Intelligence and Data teams to manage datasets that explain commercial performance
  • Uncover insights on trends affecting commercial performance, perform scenarios, and develop risk and opportunity models

What you will take ownership of:

  • Deliver visualizations and insights to partners on a regular cadence while providing the tools for self-service of commercial performance insights
  • Cross-functional data analyses of commercial key performance indicators

WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT

You have these minimum qualifications:

  • Three (3) years of work experience in Data Science or Business Analytics.
  • Two (2) years of work experience with scripting SQL queries
  • One (1) year of work experience automating data processes
  • One (1) year of work experience conducting complex analysis and modeling in R or Python
  • One (1) year of work experience working with BI and Data Visualization Tools (Microstrategy, etc.)
  • Travel up to 10% (if applicable)

It would be useful if you have:

  • One (1) year of functional experience in Hotel Sales, Revenue Management, or Hospitality Analytics
  • Ability to balance and translate complex analytical methodologies into organizational and business objectives
