ManTech Multimedia Specialist - GRID in Mclean, Virginia

ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Multimedia Specialist to join our team in Northern Virginia. The team responds to a variety of customer requirements associated with training and multimedia development. While assisting with content creation, performers will need to support dynamic mission requirements while providing consistency across all products created.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Record various events, to include: meetings, conferences, special events & trainings.

  • Gather and vet customer requirements for all projects.

  • Prepare event schedules and logistic coordination, including equipment transfer and preparation.

  • Manage multimedia asset library.

  • Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that all schedules and requirements are met.

  • Ensure that all content is edited and delivered per customer requirements.

  • Manage and maintain streaming broadcast channels.

  • Leveraging problem solving skills to provide solutions and work with customer in providing resolution.

  • Monitoring customer satisfaction which includes routine interaction with customers and staff and build strong trusting professional relationships.

  • Local travel between customer buildings.

Hours of coverage:

Individual shift may vary, but you will be a member of a team that provides coverage from 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of professional cameras, video editing systems, and audio recording, monitoring and sound mixing equipment.

  • Experience and working knowledge of industry-standard multimedia productions best practices and contemporary technologies.

  • Familiarity with the principles, practices, techniques, technology, and standards of video production and shot composition.

  • Experience with both field and studio production, digital post-production, multiple video formats, and transcoding, encoding, and authoring for distribution.

  • Ability to manage, prioritize and execute multiple concurrent projects.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Demonstrated problem solving skills and ability to provide solutions and work with customer in providing resolution.

  • Must be a self-starter and work with a clear and defined mission.

  • Proven ability to build and maintain constructive relationships among customers, stakeholders, technical teams, and contractors across the customer base.

  • Proficient in standard Microsoft Suite applications, Adobe production software (Premiere, Audition, etc.) and general database/project management tools.

  • BA/BS and 2+ years of experience, or a combination of education and work experience equivalent to 6+ years.

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

  • Must be able to move/traverse within and between buildings and offices.

  • Must be able to position self to maintain computers, including under the desks and in the server closet.

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

  • Must be able to move Audio/Visual or Computer equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.

  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers; must be able to exchange accurate information.
