Some of the key deliverables include:
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.
Troubleshoot, maintain, and implement solutions to optimize the infrastructure operations for the RAiVEN Product Family.
Analyze and identify all or part of existing or new computer (and/or server), peripheral, network, and telecommunications systems requirements, taking into consideration the special technology needs.
Design, implement, code, test, document, and support systems integration in support of mission critical advanced surveillance and targeting system solutions.
Work closely with cyber to ensure security controls are met and with software engineers, systems engineers, and implementation teams to ensure performance and deployment compliance.
Able to work onsite at our McKinney, TX Development Center
Required Qualifications:
At least 5 years of relevant experience in software, systems administration or similar.
Experience administering Red Hat Linux based systems with minimal support, to include patching, creating RPM packages, performance tuning, networking, user management (LDAP), and security.
Extensive experience with scripting, particularly in Bash and Python
Experience with at least one major programming language (C++, C#, Python, Java) and troubleshooting on a Linux system.
Education: Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of relevant software development experience
Clearance and Citizenship requirement: Must be able to acquire and maintain DoD Secret Clearance; US Citizenship is mandatory to acquire and maintain Security clearances.
Highly desirable qualifications:
Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux System Administration (7.x/8.x), including installation and maintenance of software and hardware.
Experience securing and hardening Red Hat Linux systems per STIG requirements.
Some experience with container technologies such as Docker, Podman and Kubernetes
Experience with IaC, container orchestration deployment and monitoring, as well as understanding container SBOM versioning and vulnerabilities within the environment
Familiarization with commercial cloud capabilities and services such as AWS and Azure
RHCSA is highly desirable, along with CompTIA Security+ certification.

Typically requires:
A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
Engineering/Other Technical Positions:
Typically requires a degree in Science,Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
