Our client is looking for a season inventory/procurement manager to join their team. They are looking for someone with experience in the fresh food industry and someone with a proven track record doing so. Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement inventory management strategies for packaging materials, ensuring alignment with production schedules and demand forecasts.

  • Analyze, monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.

  • Collaborate with procurement, production, and supply chain teams to coordinate the timely procurement and delivery of packaging materials.

  • Conduct regular inventory audits and analyses to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Implement and maintain inventory management systems and processes to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of packaging materials.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and ensuring thetimely resolution of any issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field plus 4 years of experience or 8 years of experience inpackaging/inventory management, preferably in the fresh food industry.

  • Knowledge of inventory management principles and practices, including demand forecasting,replenishment, and stock control.

  • Proficient in using inventory management software and ERP systems, experience with Famous preferred.

Skills
