GENERAL FUNCTION

The candidate, reporting to the Sr Manager of Business Intelligence, will be responsible for leading a team of BI experts in designing and developing automated reporting solutions and data infrastructure improvements critical for the management of all EL distribution centers and logistics network in NA. This role requires an individual with excellent analytical abilities and business acumen with exceptional competency in business intelligence infrastructure and tools.

Crucially, the candidate must possess hands-on experience in developing and implementing AI/ML solutions, using these technologies to drive advanced data-driven decision-making and predictive analytics across the organization.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead team of Sr Analysts in developing reporting solutions for Logistics.

  • Oversee Logistic NA BI framework design, development, and maintenance.

  • Develop and integrate AI/ML algorithms into BI solutions to enhance logistics and predictive capabilities.

  • Provide visibility for Logistics senior leadership decision-making.

  • Build automated reports/dashboards for process improvement and data-driven decisions.

  • Drive the creation of AI/ML models to improve data accuracy, facilitate predictive analysis, and increase operational efficiency..

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in highly quantitative field (computer Science, data science/analytics, statistics, etc.)

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an analytical field with at least 2 years focused on AI/ML development.

  • Strong knowledge of SQL and data visualization tools (such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.)

  • Proficient in extracting insights from data and adept at articulating these findings clearly to both business and technical stakeholders through strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and tools, with the ability to apply machine learning techniques to enhance data analysis and business decision-making processes.

  • Expertise in developing and implementing AI/ML models, with a strong grasp of AI/ML tools and frameworks.

  • Proficiency in AI/ML-specific programming languages and tools, such as Python, R, TensorFlow, or PyTorch, with a substantial portfolio of practical AI/ML applications in business contexts.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in a business analyst, data analyst or statistical analysis role

  • Experience in building business intelligence infrastructure and solutions.

  • Experience with big data processing frameworks, especially Databricks, for implementing complex data analytical projects and real-time data processing solutions.

  • Demonstrated experience in leading AI/ML initiatives, from conception to deployment in a business environment.
