Pilot plants at UOP are bench scale assemblies of high pressure equipment where experiments are conducted for the purpose of catalyst and process development for the Refinery and Petrochemical industries.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a shift Operator you will operate, monitor, and take readings on group of pilot plants. This includes collecting samples for the labs to analyze. You will be responsible for your work area to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the area. Make use of the Honeywell Operating System to continuously make improvements.

MUST HAVE

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

WE VALUE

  • Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts (days/nights) which includes some weekends and holidays

  • Basic math and computer skills

  • Good written and oral communication skills

  • Outstanding collaboration and interpersonal skills

  • Working safely at all times

  • Familiar with using tools

  • Handling of hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals
