Responsible for the basic skills necessary to perform as a sleep lab technologist. Must be able to independently prepare patients, conduct routine Polysomnography recordings, conduct complex and non-routine recordings such as CPAP and split-night recordings, and also help train other technologists. Assist in public awareness of sleep disorders. Meet expectation of required competencies; Must demonstrate knowledge and skills along with the understanding of principles of growth and development to provide appropriate care for the age of the patient.
