Position: Food Service Worker

Job Description: Southwest Mississippi Community College is seeking individuals to work in our Food Service Department. Hours 6:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Must be able to work weekends and holidays. Full and part-time positions are available.

Duties and Responsibilities: Deliver exceptional service by preparing food items consistently and adhering to all recipe standards. Maintain a safe working environment by using proper food handling skills and food safety guidelines. Complete kitchen tasks such as line setup, food preparation, cleanup and breakdown. Perform other duties as assigned

Salary: Hourly wages are based on experience

Qualifications: High school diploma/GED required. Serve Safe Certification preferred. One year in volume food service cooking preferred.
