TRGis seeking a dynamicLanguage, Regional Expertise, and Culture (LREC)Joint Planning Subject Matter Expertwho has comprehensive knowledge and understanding of joint operational planning, global force management, and knowledge of Language, Regional Expertise, and Culture (LREC) support to DoD Components.

This position is currently hybrid. Work may be performed at the customer facility in Alexandria, VA (The Mark Center -https://markcenter.com/), at the TRG headquarters in McLean, VA, or remotely.

Travel:Minimal (CONUS and OCONUS) up to (3) trips per year to support several conferences/meeting venues.

This position isContingent upon Contract Award.

Active Top-Secret clearance is required(may require a Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility).

Core hours are between8:00 am - 4:30 pm.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with DLNSEO staff and leadership to facilitate the integration of Language, Regional Expertise, and Culture (LREC) capabilities into Joint Planning.
  • Collaborate with the services and other DoD stakeholders in the development of DOTMLPF-P solutions to improve LREC planning to enable Joint Force Design and Force Development.
  • Coordinate with CCMDs and leverage Joint Planning Environment (JPE) processes to improve Language, Regional Expertise, and Culture (LREC) requirements and identification.
  • Attend Joint Staff and CCMD planning conferences, and draft reports that include recommendations for process improvements.

Experience and Technical Qualifications:

  • At least 10 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is required
  • Working knowledge and experience in joint operational planning, global force management, and knowledge of Language, Regional Expertise, and Culture (LREC) support to DoD components.
  • Understanding of processes tied to working with individuals such as the Joint Capabilities Requirements Manager (JCRM) and working knowledge of Joint Operation Planning and Execution System (JOPES) processes and how it influences the requirements process.
  • Knowledge and understanding of joint OPLANs, Concept of Operation Plans (CONPLANs) and DOTMLPF-P joint processes.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills. Expert user of the MS Office Suite (mainly MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Veteran military officer (Major or above) with relevant operational experience on the Joint Staff or similar experiences conducting Joint planning initiatives.
  • Language, Regional Expertise, and Culture (LREC) background to include experience as a Foreign Area Officer (FAO), or Cryptologic Language Analyst (CLA) is highly desired.
  • Experience providing details analysis and performing analytics normalization and visualization.
