Description

Robotics & Digital Surgery, part of the Johnson & Johnson Medtech, is recruiting for a Software Test Automation Engineer, located Warsaw, Poland (not remote).

Focus areas include: Interventional Solutions, Orthopaedics, Surgery and Vision.

As the Software Test Automation Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing and performing software testing for our groundbreaking robotic surgical platform. In this role, you will design and develop test cases and protocols to verify software functionality, using numerous testing methods including functional, integration, and system testing. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, diligent, detailed oriented, and can work independently and function well within in a team. #RADSW

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work independently to create, maintain, and execute automation and manual test plans for verification

  • Perform build acceptance testing using the suite of automated test cases

  • Participate in design discussions and code reviews

  • Create traceability between test plans and formal requirement documents.

  • Work with software, robotics, and system engineers as part of a focused cross-functional team developing and testing software for medical robotic applications/ Robot Framework

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent

  • 2 years software test automation experience is preferred with an equivalent degree

  • Experience with OOP scripting languages such as Python or C/C and Bash or Linux commands

  • Knowledge of automated GUI testing tools such as Squish or other equivalent tools

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organization, time management and ability to meet deadlines

  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Design and implement sophisticated automated tests for software and hardware

  • Improve test automation scripts and coverage

  • Work independently to create, maintain, and execute automation for SW test and verification

  • Participate in test case/protocol design discussions

Preferred Skills:

  • Perform hands-on system testing of complex electro-mechanical systems

  • Experience testing complex medical devices/software

  • Experience with dev-ops (build and release)

  • Experience working in an Agile development environment

  • Experience developing and/or using automated test frameworks

  • Experience with Real-time embedded SW/FW test automation
