Job Description:

Title:Hardware Engineer/Technician

Location:Beachwood, OH (onsite)

Length:12 month contract

Job Requirements

  • Enhancing current system/test bed environment in a lab.
  • Swapping out hardware & equipment as needed.
  • You will own the entire lab, ensuring that the lab is fully running.
  • Work with Cisco networks, Power supplies, etc. - (configure routers/switches via Putty).
  • Work with other firmware, hardware, and embedded engineers to execute test
  • Have an understanding of and experience working from electrical schematics, wiring ladder diagrams or from a block drawings with safety in mind, adhering to applicable safety standards.
  • Conduct troubleshooting of electrical wiring circuits to determine problems or circuit malfunctions, as they occur and initiate corrective action.
  • Resolve problems or issues that may arise due to changing test requirements.
  • Complete all related test and quality documentation.
  • Can require long hours of standing. There are occasions where overtime hours, weekend work will be required.

     

Requirements:(2-5 years of experience)

  • Working knowledge of PLC-based industrial controls systems

Nice to have:

  • Software testing
  • What is your experience with putty & configure a switch

Education Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering/Technology or equivalent experience
