JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Description Mauston Tool is expanding it\'s capabilities and ability to serve a larger market in the plastic injection mold building industry. We are searching for dynamic individuals who desire to join a dedicated and progressive team as a Journeyman Toolmaker - Machinist With the proper skill and work ethic this is a very well paid position with overtime available. Pay Range: \$20 - \$40 based on experience and qualifications. Benefits available. This is a Full-Time First shift Journeyman Toolmaker - Machinist position and is for a person who likes challenging work and is able to problem solve in a fast paced tool and die shop. Responsibilities: Set-up, operation and programming of complex jobs using CNC Equipment. Maintain quality & safety standards. Use of appropriate machining techniques for highest efficiency and quality. Attend and contribute to staff and facility meetings. Trains and guides fellow employees as needed Qualifications Education and Experience: 2 years of CNC machine experience required. Plastic injection mold experience a plus. Working knowledge of SolidWorks. Proficiency with Mastercam. PowerMill is a plus. Able to read and fully interpret blue prints and CNC programs. Qualifications Skills and Competencies: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication (verbal and written), teamwork and organizational skills. Ability to effectively prioritize tasks, be flexible, and self-directing. Demonstrate a focus on Continuous Improvement, and promote that culture. Understand the machine ability of different materials. Understanding of geometry, trigonometry, shop math and calculator. Able to lift up to 50-75 lbs. metal pieces and secure work piece in fixture with proper equipment. Attention to Detail and Quality. Job Type: Full-time ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum (2) years of experience in mold making or completion of an accredited apprenticeship program in either mold making or tool and die.
