Description The Barnes Group has an exciting and challenging new position for a Warehouse Associate in Maumee, OH. Barnes Group offers a competitive wage, 13 paid holidays, 1st shift only: 6:45 am - 3:30 pm and 2 weeks vacation pro rated on date of hire, starting wage is $18.11. In this role you must be able to operate basic machinery, pick and pack customer orders, perform basic receiving and shipping functions, relocate product within the warehouse and interact with the enterprise resource planning system (ERP) which is JBA. This role also requires an individual be flexible in terms of working hours and being able to cover various areas of the warehouse (assembly and distribution) as assigned. Core Responsibilities: Pick and pack product for shipment to customers and other Associated Spring Raymond locations. Set-up and operate machinery efficiently and safely Organize and move product to appropriate stocking locations. Perform shipping functions. Maintain safe and clean work environment. Perform quality checks as needed to ensure products meet specifications Timely handling of returned goods and customer issues Responsible for timely re-stocking of orders and receipts from suppliers. Interact with the JBA computer system to process all basic warehouse transactions. Print all types of internal and customer labels. Perform all duties in a safe manner. Perform other warehouse and office duties as assigned. Adherence to Barnes Group Code of Ethics and Values Qualifications: 1-3 years' experience as a warehouse and/or manufacturing responsibility.
