The Maintenance (I&E) Technician will be located at our Southport Road, Spartanburg site.
As a Maintenance (I&E) Technician, you will...
Conduct instrumentation evaluation and troubleshooting for electrical, pneumatic, analyzer GC, electronic as well as programmable logic control (PLC) systems.
Execute equipment tests and calibrations related to functional performance on instrumentation and analyzers and complete required documentation for all calibrations and procedures.
Be Involved in the evaluation of instrument, electrical and analyzer systems performance to identify optimization and enhancement opportunities.
Ensure conformance with environmental, quality critical and safety requirements commensurate with executing required instrument maintenance or replacement activities.
Utilize piping and instrumentation diagrams, connection diagrams, tubing diagrams, specifications, and installation procedures to install, calibrate, diagnose, repair and perform preventive maintenance of process control instrumentation systems.
If you have...
A HS Diploma or GED with 5 years of Industrial Mechanic/Electric/Instrument experience OR a 2-year Associate degree from a technical school and 3 years of experience in an Industrial Mechanic/Electrician/Instrumentation position.
The ability to troubleshoot and diagnose instrumentation calibration/repair, rotating equipment maintenance/repair, electrical equipment knowledge, piping installation, etc.
Familiar with capacities of a multimeter and ability to operate mobile equipment.
Strong level of basic computer skills.
