The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies is looking for a P3I Intern (Part-Time) to support our government customer in Maui, HI. This is a summer internship.

DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deploy, maintain, analyze, upgrade, troubleshoot and repair PC and Mac hardware/software and network systems. (Including peripheral devices such as printers)

  • Provides first-level support to users by researching and answering questions; resolving problems; providing resources. (Both for onsite and remote end-users)

  • Creates desktop images and installs or updates security patches and carries out corporate compliancy for the desktop

  • Active Directory and e-mail account creation, maintenance and troubleshooting

  • Maintain IT Inventory

    REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

  • Currently pursuing BA or BS degree in IT related field of study or HS education or GED with 0-3 years of experience in an IT technical support environment

    REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Diagnostic and analytical skills for software/application knowledge.

  • Ability to multitask - Sense of urgency; maintain a positive attitude.

  • Strong customer focus; service-oriented attitude.

  • Excellent telephone presence with organized follow-up skills.

  • Good analytical and strong problem-solving skills.

    REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE:

  • Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance
