About the role

The purpose of the Senior Project Manager position is to support individual, multi-disciplined real estate project solutions for Financial and Professional Services clients, with direct accountability for project delivery. The ideal candidate will be working on commercial interior renovations, tenant fit-outs, cafeteria, and other amenities spaces and have accountability for infrastructure projects.

This is not a Remote position; the selected candidate must be located within a 30-mile radius of Charlotte, North Carolina.

What you’ll do

  • Leads all facets of project and program management (budget, schedule, procurement, quality & risk) for multi-asset facility projects related to HVAC asset assessments and replacements, roofing replacements, and roadway assessments.

  • Oversees infrastructure construction and renovation projects and ensures detailed staff understands and implements safety requirements, operations, policies, and procedures.

  • Conduct periodic site visits to lead all aspects of the progress of construction and monitor the status of work completed during the delivery schedule.

  • Applying CBRE standards to multifaceted real estate documents related to agreements, contracts, leases, work letters, project charters, surveys, and drawings.

  • Manages regional project reports, stewards account-specific Key Performance Indicators, and promotes overall program improvements. Performs training and ongoing mentoring for junior-level staff.

  • Building relationships with clients to ensure projects are being delivered against established expectations and to explore opportunities for program improvements.

  • Identifies project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through individual project qualification processes; conducts standard requests for proposals; completes bid analysis; recommends resources to clients.

  • Implements communication plan for meetings and written reports/meeting minutes to keep client and project resources briefed.

What you’ll need

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS/Bang/BArch) required from College or University.

  • Minimum six years of experience in industrial or infrastructure construction project management.

  • Prior experience with reading and understanding architectural, civil, electrical, and mechanical drawings.

  • Prior experience managing budgets, schedules, and costs.

  • Prior experience managing employees is preferred.

  • Ability to travel to San Antonio, Texas, and Florida as required (approximately once per month).
