Job Title: Nursery Supervisor\ Employee Type: Full - Time Hourly\ \ \ Pine Lake Nursery and Landscaping is a family owned business of over fifty years located in Matthews, NC servicing the Greater Charlotte region. We have a five-acre nursery that is open year-round to the public selling perennials, annuals, shrubs and trees. We also offer additional services of delivery, design and landscaping, and as well as lawn maintenance.\ \ Description: \ Under the direction of the Owner, the Nursery Supervisor will oversee the day to day operations. This person will be the front line of interacting with customers by phone and in person helping them with their questions and sales. This person will keep track of inventory and placing orders as needed. He/she will also ensure that plants stay healthy and the overall facility stays clean and organized. This person will also coordinate invoices and bills being paid and the organization of the office.\ \ \ Qualifications:
- Customer service experience
- Horticulture experience
- Willingness to learn
- Detailed and organized
\ Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work Monday through Saturday 8:00am - 5:00pm
- Ability to walk, stand, and sit while maintaining alertness for extended period of times.
- Position will require bending, leaning, knelling, walking and lifting up to 50lbs
- Ability to speak concisely and effectively communicate.
