A Carter Lumber Inside Commercial Interior Trim Coordinator is responsible for all facets of support for installed commercial interior trim and hardware. Individual must be organized, effective communicator, work independently and possess attention to detail. A strong belief in the mission and goals of the company are necessary to this position.

Responsibilities

Quoting & Job Creation 

  • Collaborate with project managers and clients to provide accurate and competitive quotes for interior trim and hardware installations.

  • Create and manage project files, ensuring all necessary documentation is in place for smooth execution.

Manufacturing/Ordering

  • Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to order trim products, interior doors, commercial doors, and hardware components.

Delivery & Installation

  • Monitor delivery schedules and ensure timely receipt of materials at project sites.

  • Work closely with installation teams to schedule and oversee the installation process, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications

Desired Product Knowledge

  • Understanding of different trim profiles, materials, and their applications.

  • Knowledge of interior door types, styles, and hardware requirements.

  • Familiarity with commercial-grade doors, fire-rated doors, and related hardware.

  • Awareness of hardware components used in commercial spaces, such as locks, hinges, and handles.
