Shift Relationship Banker - Mason Office

Part time hours (Monday-Friday)10am-2pm

 

JOB SUMMARY:

Provides service to the public by processing transactions submitted through a Relationship Banker window.  Works to establish personal banking relationships and meets all needs of each customer. 

 

JOB DUTIES:

  1. Accepts checks for cashing or paying in accordance with bank policy.  Verifies endorsement, validity, and funds; makes change.  Pays withdrawals from savings accounts after verifying balance and signature.  Watches for stop payments, holds and other special instructions as required.
  2. Receives cash and/or checks for commercial and individual deposits.  Verifies cash and endorsements, being alert for counterfeit and fraudulent checks, and issues receipts.
  3. Maintains good customer relations and sells additional bank services or recognizes and develops opportunities to refer customers to other bank personnel for assistance.
  4. Issues cashier's checks.
  5. Receives U. S. Savings Bonds for payment.
  6. Manages a fund of cash.  Counts, proves and packages coin and currency.  Maintains maximum security over the cash and other valuables throughout the daily operation and assures only a minimum amount of cash necessary for efficient operation is kept on hand.
  7. Prepares an accurate and timely balancing of daily work.
  8. Performs a range of related duties as assigned by the Office Manager.
  9. Adheres to all Federal and State laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act.
  10. All other duties as assigned.
