We are currently looking for a Category Development Specialist to join our Confectionery team.

Location: Maslak, İstanbul

Type of contract: Permanent

As a Category Development Specialist, you will have the following responsibilities;

  • Track & monitor execution of planned trade activations and create the link between the business and sales team

  • Recommend actionable trade, event and sampling solutions based on a clear understanding on shopper behaviour within the Category/sub Category;

  • Develop and propose the in&out of store vision of success for the category/sub category in each channel. Support its implementation and continuously review the effectiveness of our in&out of store actions.

  • Contribute to the ICP process by identifying the key opportunities and possible action plans for the Category/sub Category.

  • Track, monitor and analyze competitior activities to contribute trade strategy

Which profile are we looking for?

  • 2-3 years of FMCG trade marketing and/or hands-on sales experience (especially in key account sales – customer management)

  • Knowledge on designing & executing channel sales promotions & trade budget management

  • Financial knowledge is a plus

  • Knowledge of different trade channels is a plus – supermarkets, discounters, Cash&Carry’s, traditional trade, e-com, etc.

  • Very strong analtical skills, good with analyzing data and extracting insights

  • Good in building-up sales performance tracking systems (sales progress, distribution, stocks, market share, channel dynamics, etc)

  • Experience in working with multiple stakeholders - marketing, sales, channel trade marketers, supply chain, finance, etc.

  • Strong knowledge of Excel & PowerPoint

  • Excellent command of written & spoken English
