Job Description

Safran Cabin Materials located in Marysville, WA is recruiting for a:

Production Control Specialist - 1st shift

7:00am to 3:30pm M-F

The Production Control employee has program adherence responsibility for a small to medium complexity program and will be responsible for delivering the program objectives,

managing program performance, risks, opportunities, and change control according to internal rules and processes. Provide leadership to a matrixed cross functional integrated

program team (IPT), drive continuous improvement using company root cause & corrective action processes. Responsibility for overseeing all planning activities to assure

successful delivery of the product. This position will also be responsible for performing tasks & duties associated with product manufacture planning, including producing schedules,

material lists, & production plans. Production control will participate as key user in the development & deployment of the Scheduling System (APS) in coordination with

Safran Cabin Performance Improvement Engineer to ensure the successful deployment of the application. In that role, Production Control actively contributes to validate processes

and develop key performance indicators (KPIs) & early warning systems on areas like scheduling, production control, & purchasing. This position is expected to provide critical

thinking & be able to assess internal/external risks, opportunities & actions to support the organization achieve it's objectives.

This position will report to the Production Control Senior Manager & will serve as the Customer(s) primary Point of Contact.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

Responsibility, Authority and full Accountability, for the successful execution & Customer Satisfaction of the Program under their leadership.

ERP & Scheduling Systems.

Serve as a functional expert in key Planning & Scheduling systems.

Collaborate with the data IS team and the business in order to ensure the validity and health of the ERP's system data.

Exercise problem-solving, analytical, negotiation skills to develop innovative solutions to manufacturing problems, procures required resources & support.

Understand the business in terms of customer requirements, business strategy, internal performance & supplier performance.

Works in conjunction with the business in order to develop an appropriate action plan congruent with the strategy defined by the entity.

Acts as interface with all stakeholders.

Work with IS to identify, develop, and deploy software solutions.

Ensure Cabin & Divisional industrialization standards are followed throughout the lifecycle of the program.

Ensure sustainability of newly established process. Lead transfer of stabilized processes to business unit.

Responsible for Planning, overall financial performance of the program, Program bid, planning & control, Primary Point of Contact with customer over the entire program life cycle and primary liaison with Management.

Job Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required

Typically requires 6 years of project manager or project engineer experience in a commercial aerospace environment required. Basic Knowledge of program management

methodologies & proven ability to manage complex projects.

Proficient with MS Project.

Proficient knowledge Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Knowledge of AS9100 or ISO9001.

Experience with an MRP system.

Capable of managing large amounts of data & tasks.

Competency in performing data analysis through data business analytics services (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).

Other Skills:

Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written.

Ability to build & maintain effective relationships, leadership skills, organizational skills, ability to analyze & summarize information, financial acumen.

Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects/assignments with attention to detail.

Problem solving, well organized, detailed oriented/accurate.

Demonstrated knowledge of materials planning system (MRP/ERP) requirements, purchase order & manufacturing order generation process logic & inventory

management practices.

Demonstrated understanding of Material Management operational concepts surrounding production planning, inventory control, purchasing, stockroom operation, shipping/receiving.

Familiarity with the procurement of raw materials, standards, parts/commodities related to aircraft lavatory production.

Ability to read/analyze engineering prints & drawings.

Dedication & commitment to ensure all work is completed without exception.

Willingness to learn & develop new competencies.

Self-starter with ability to drive improvement, meet timeliness & objectives.

Additional Preferred Skills (not required):

Degree in engineering.

Project Management certification (PMI, PMP, etc.).

Experience utilizing advanced functions & reporting in Microsoft Excel such as V-lookup & pivot tables.

Working Conditions:

Does require fluent communication in English language.
