Job Summary The Electrical Engineer/Designer is primarily responsible for creating and leading the systems design of aircraft interior products such as bins, galleys, lavatories, closets, and ceiling panels used in commercial and private aircraft, using a computer-aided drafting system. Innovative systems design 3D models and 2D drawings of aircraft interior products within technical specifications and project requirements. Responsibilities: ? Produce innovative systems design 3D models and 2D drawings of aircraft interior products within technical specification and project requirements. ? Work closely with project engineers and technical production team to complete engineering deliverables per project schedule and budget. ? Create and check 3D models and 2D drawings that meet Safran and customer standards per the required processes and documentation. ? Drive 3D models and 2D drawings all the way from creation through release to ensure project schedules are met. ? Troubleshoot design and process issues to resolve complex technical issues preventing deliverables. ? Lead work packages with the support of other engineering and production staff. Create schematic diagrams Skills: ? Minimum 5 years of related experience in aerospace OR electrical engineering design. ? Ability to read process specifications and documents, including adhering to D6-54446 and ABD0100.1.8 ? Proficient use of an oscilloscope, power supplies, multimeters, etc. ? Ability to distinguish variations within the color spectrum
