As a civilian contractor working for QuarterLine, you will utilize your abilities as a Clinical Psychologist to serve patients at Kimbrough Ambulatory Care Center at Fort Meade, Maryland.

Type of Work: Full-Time

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities

  • Practice within the guidelines of their state licensing board, American Psychological Association Ethical Principles and Code of Conduct, and MTF privileges.

  • Conduct psychological evaluations utilizing information from clinical interviews, psychological testing, and collateral sources, as appropriate.

  • Establish psychiatric diagnoses according to the American Psychiatric Association Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Disorders.

  • Provide psychological treatment for individuals and groups; help medical and surgical patients deal with illnesses or injuries.

  • Assist in rehabilitation of patients.

Minimum Requirements

  • Degree: Director of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD)

  • Education: Graduate from an American Psychology Association accredited college or university with a doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology. Additional training is required for psychology specialties.

  • Internship/Residency: Successful completion from an internship in psychology accredited by the American Psychological Association.

  • Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association, or the American Red Cross.

  • Experience: One year of experience within the last two years.

  • Citizenship: U.S. Citizen

  • Credentialing: Ability to pass background check and drug screen. Current physical and immunizations.

  • Physical Requirements: You must be on the premises to perform the job. The environment is fast-paced and multifaceted, with conditions and duties that can change quickly throughout a shift.
