ProSphere Tek Mechanical Engineer in Mary Esther, Florida

Overview

Work in a collaborative and innovative environment support Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC). This is an amazing opportunity to directly support global Command and Control Mission Support (C2MS) program. You will be part of the Enduring Product Management Engineering and Development team supporting the C2MS program at our Hurlburt Field facility. This team is made up of various engineering disciplines to cover the breadth of AFSOC mission sets.

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities

  • Enduring product management activities include analysis, estimation, development design, testing, integration, fielding, training, maintenance, and support to air, ground, network and other AFSOC mission sets.

  • Perform analysis and develop scientific reports to support air and ground C2 system airworthiness approvals.

  • Gather customer requirements and user input to develop mechanical systems needed to fill capabilities gaps for AFSOC C2MS.

  • Oversee design of mechanical systems to include CAD models, 3D printing for both prototyping and end use, analysis, Technical Data Package (TDP) and testing.

  • Coordinates with other functional areas such as RF, software engineering, fabrication, program management, and cabling to meet requirements in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering from institution recognized by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) for approved curriculum.

  • 5 years experience in mechanical engineering.

  • Must have an Active Secret Security Clearance.

  • Knowledge of Special Operations, SOCOM, and C4ISR systems.

  • Experience in design, develop, build, test, and integrate hardware/software onto new and existing systems.

  • Experience in analysis, troubleshooting, and fielding solutions.

  • Experience to develop technical data packages.

  • Experience using SolidWorks and AutoCAD computer aided design tools.

  • Experience in performing analysis and development of scientific reports to support air and ground C2 system airworthiness approvals.
